As part of the İdeal R&D Seminars held on March 31, 2026, we were pleased to host Dr. Berk Gökberk, Faculty Member of the Department of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University.

During his presentation, "Deepfake Technologies: Emerging Trends in Visual Manipulation," Dr. Gökberk shared insights into the recent evolution of deepfake technologies, focusing on advances in generation quality, accessibility, current generation and detection methods, and the emerging risks associated with these technologies.

The seminar provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the technical foundations of AI-powered visual manipulation, its applications, and the security challenges it presents.
