We kicked off the first seminar of the new year with a captivating session by Prof. Dr. Murat Karakaya from TED University. 

In this insightful seminar, participants embarked on an engaging journey into the world of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs). 

The session provided a clear understanding of: 

• The foundational principles of how LLMs function,

• The role of parameters like temperature and token limits in shaping model behavior,

• How to integrate and run AI systems such as OpenAI, Claude API, and Ollama either locally or via API. 

Additionally, the seminar explored advanced techniques like fine-tuning and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to optimize model performance. 

The session marked a strong and inspiring start to our academic calendar, blending theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
