At the Ideal R&D Seminar held on December 30, 2025, Arjen Aykan Kılıç, Senior Software Engineer, joined us with his presentation titled “Fundamentals of LLM Security: Jailbreak Attacks, Guardrail Architectures, Autonomous Agent Approaches, and Evaluation Methods.”

During his talk, Kılıç covered common LLM jailbreak attack types, real-world vulnerability examples, and manipulation techniques used by attackers. He also shared insights into guardrail architectures, content filtering strategies, and rule-based and learning-based security layers designed to safely constrain LLM behavior.

By addressing LLM security from both offensive and defensive perspectives, the session provided a comprehensive framework for understanding modern security threats, designing appropriate protection mechanisms, and building more resilient systems.
