As part of our İdeal R&D Seminars, we were pleased to host Dr. Atay Özgövde, Faculty Member of the Department of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University.

Dr. Özgövde, whose research focuses on Edge and Cloud Computing, Applied Artificial Intelligence for Communication Networks, Game Programming, and Generative AI-Based Next-Generation Software Development, shared valuable insights from both his academic research and industry experience.

During the seminar, participants explored how Large Language Models (LLMs) are evolving beyond code completion into agent-based, multi-step software engineering workflows. The session also covered the latest approaches to integrating AI-assisted software development into modern software production processes, along with recent advancements in LLM and Small Language Model (SLM) technologies.

The seminar provided attendees with valuable insights into the future of software engineering and the growing role of Generative AI in software development.
